I am trying to find some TB iris that bloom later than the average ones that bloom in early May. I saw a nice one called Fashionably Late. Anyone growing it?

I don't grow that one but have several late bloomers I really love. What color spectrum were you looking for?

No color in mind, just pictures of what you guys are growing and that would be blooming later than most.
Thanks, Leslie

I don't have all my late bloomer pics from this year ready yet, but here are a few from the last few years that are late bloomers in my garden:

This year, everything seemed to bloom at once, except for the white NoIDs on my hill. They were the last to bloom last season too. I can tell you the earliest to bloom, that would be Managua. It was the first named iris to open over the last 2 years.

I have to add Color Seams, being in Western KY. I have had several family members in the coal jobs.

Jamaican Me Crazy is doing just that! lol

Thanks for adding the pics above!

I have Fashionably Late, I think! I've had it for about 5 years, it's never bloomed yet, but it was my fault, I hadn't found Grass B Gone yet, now there's no excuse, it's a big clump and should have bloomed this year. I've had lots of large clumps not bloom this year though.

My favorite late is Ambroisie. She never fails to make me smile when she joins the party. When the heat of June comes on, she does lose a few to it, though.

I love it, too. I thought I had a clump shot but I can't find it.

Mine didn't bloom this year, but so far it has survived the mayhem in the Nursery beds. Thumbs up

Your Ambrosie bloomed late for me too Celia. I looked out the window one day and saw that bright pink, and thought - that must be Ambrosie! I hadn't seen the blooms stalks grow.

My Ambrosie didn't bloom this year, but I am looking forward to it blooming next year. Thank you again Celia.
