Thread OP

Hello,
I am planning on getting married in my back yard next year and reception in a tent in our back field. The tent will be 40x60and the surrounding area will have to be maintained as well ( approx1 acre)Currently there is long grass covering the back field. We have started cutting it to see the shape of the land. There are tire tracks and natural pits in the ground that will need to be filled then covered with seed. Majority of the field will only need maintained mowing however the areas to be filled will be about 20% of the field.
Is there's type of seed that is best used for this situation? What would be your recommendation to be the most efficient and cost effective way of doing this.

Thank you very much!

The type of seed would depend upon where your field is and in what season the wedding will be.
