You got me!!!!

I believe that the woman I am talking to is "Barbara Taylor" from California. I spent a good bit of time with her. She was using a scooter that was not really designed for the garden setting. I was escorting and "spotting" as best I could. She was very neat to talk to. She was taking pictures of irises for a specific reason. She was going to send the photos to a company that would provide a "thread" patter (for embroidery) so she could put the design on Men's ties.

Of course, it could be me with someone else; who knows? Confused

Greg,
So that was you with the yellow shirt and the "funny hat?" I think I may have an even more incriminating photo. Whistling

Yup, you got me! Frightful *Blush*

Seems yellow was the "in" color as the garden owner was also wearing yellow!

The "funny" hat as it were, was a recommendation from Rick Tasco & Roger Duncan. I burn too easily and needed more than the idea of turning up my collar of my shirt! Any other wonderful pictures?!?

Do you have any of the lady on the scooter? Or know who she is?

Arlyn & Leon,

What does that say about us letting the likes of you two join our ranks? Confused

Rolling on the floor laughing I tip my hat to you.

Ouch, he has a point. Though our only standards here are that you be crazy about iris.

I expect both of you to be wearing iris ties at all times if the Iris Group ever has some meet up!

Much like the ladies in the 'red hat' group I expect the iris ties could be worn any way your like.... and your club motto could be 'no shirt, no shoes, iris tie'.

Thanks so much for the tour Greg. Your great photos allowed me to see the irises very clearly and the garden shots allowed me to feel like I was there. Thank You! .....Only wish you had met Lucy B. Smiling

That would really put me outside looking in; especially the days when I wear a T-shirt, cut-offs & run around barefoot! Neighbors think I'm a little 'touched' too! Sad (Most of them are farmers covered from head to toe in bibbed overalls & long sleeve shirts on 90* degree days in sweltering humidity!) Just call me Hillbilly! Whistling

By the looks of the spent blooms in some of the pictures, it appears that they missed the peak bloom by a few days.

Leon - you could wrap the tie around your head like a bandana!

What? And give up my stetson? Not in this weather! A belt would be more functional! Thumbs up

Greg,
I checked my photos and I'm afraid I don't have any further photos of the lady in the scooter nor do I know who she is. Confused Sorry!
