Anyone have any input as to......Hardiness, how often it blooms. I see a lot from the search of heavy bloom and good reviews but I like real gardener experience.

Hi, Cinta. It's supposed to be hardy to zone 5. I can't answer your other questions because I just planted my bare-root Lady of Shalott this spring and I don't know enough yet about its rebloom frequency and other characteristics. It is owned by at least five other members, so maybe some of them will chime in with more information.

First year here too, but come spring I'll be able to give a report. First blooms are open now, it is certainly lovely!

Thank you Zuzu & Neal.

Neal the bloom, bloom color and fragrance was calling my name. The two that the nursery have is blooming now and it is a pretty color and fragrance. It is a big rose bush they appear to be maybe 3-4 year plants. The pots are tree size.

I am looking for some good apricot/yellows for my apricot and blue garden.

My daughter gave me gift certificates for this nursery for mothers day and another for my birthday both fall in the same week. So I have lots of extra to add to my garden budget. I just want something that will not die so I can point to what she got me for my birthday and mother's day.

Most Austins are pretty hardy, and I have noticed Lady of Shallot is often listed as disease resistant. It would be gorgeous with blues!
