I saw the fellow at our local greek market putting what looked like huge, dish-like flower containers on curb. Not being the shy type, I asked him if I could take them. He said I could & I asked why he was throwing away such great flower containers. He gave me a strange look & said "Not flower pots; My olives come in huge barrels & these are the top 1/4 of them. I cut it off to re-pack olives for sale. They're just great; very heavy-gauge terra-cotta colored plastic with a black "foot" (which I guess was probably the seal on the barrel). Will post pics. when I have my new phone.
