Timberline Gardens is a local nursery here in Colorado. The owner is known to buy hard to find succulents. I did contact Timberline Gardens to see if they have any plans to start selling online. They have not returned my email as of today. I will be making another trip out tomorrow, so I can ask the owner. Here is a pic of some of the semps. Not all of them! There is another section with several sedum and other groundcovers. Drooling

Here is a pic of some of the succulent pots that they have for sale. I would saythey are probably 18-20". My camera is not the greatest, or I'm not very good at taking pictures! *Blush*

This is the S. 'Lilac Queen' . I am not very familiar with this plant. I did reference the database and saw that Lynn's plant is not as red as this one. Still very pretty.

Sandi there is nothing wrong with your camera or the photos you are taking. These are all beautiful.
Be still my heart, looking at those containers. Lovey dubby

The weather is so different from mine that we just never know what any given cultivar will look like. Did you get a Lilac Queen? Will be interesting to see if it gets the water markings and how the color changes as the year goes by.

Can't help it, I keep going back to those planters. Lovey dubby

Thank you so much Sandi for taking the photos and posting them. Can't wait to see what the owner says about online sales. : )

Lynn, I didn't purchase the 'Lilac Queen'. I'm going back tomorrow may buy it then. I did find the Rosularias but didn't find the Orostachys. I'm carefully putting together a wish list tonight, so that when I return, I can purchase a flat which costs considerably less. Hurray!

Wow, the containers are awesome. Are those cement containers? I bet they weigh a ton. Just out of curiosity, how much do they charge for them?

I agree - your pictures are just fine. Thanks for sharing them. Can't wait to see what you get either!

The containers are a resin that looks like cement. They are lighter than you would think. They charge $49-199.

What you can't see.... there are some winter hardy cacti tucked in and around some of the semps. I added it up one day, maybe 60.00 are so in plants!

Woohoo! You found my favorite local nursery!

I'd be surprised if Kelly started selling online, but you never know. Later in the year they sell a lot of smaller, newly planted semp offsets for $1. I've got sooooo many!

One of my favorites right now is one called Burning Star that I picked up for $1 last year. I'll try and post pictures next week.

Hi Tabby, welcome! I can see why that's your favorite local nursery. What a great deal to get offsets for $1. I'd stock up too!

Looked at the photobucket pictures of your semps. Nice collection! I really like Blue Boy and Casa. Do you every trade?

Thanks Goldfinch! Yes I would like to trade a bit, but I don't have enough of Casa or Blue Boy yet to trade. Both of those came from SMG. I do have some extras of others, especially S. Funckii and Jovibarba arenaria x hirta f/Belansky Tatra. I have some Slate which is another great blue that turns really deep purple in the winter. I got it from Timberline for $1.

Hey Tabby! Welcome. I'm glad to see another fan of Timberline. You are probably right....Terry probably won't sell online. I thought it would be worth a shot to ask, at least for those who are not able to spend hours upon hours at Timberline like I do. I'm more than happy to share what I have. I would be interested in doing a trade with you. I will send you a C-mail. Smiling
