Jan,I haven't made one but I have been tempted. On the babies but they sure are cute...I've even printed out a how-to....
Chris, I love to keep you laughing. It is what makes it so worth it, knowing folks love them...
I've got a friend coming out tomorrow to do some grouting in my workshop. I don't know why I didn't think of it before my surgery but I'm going to have to ask her to round up all my clay and bring it up for me. I don't think it would be too difficult to create a workstation while I'm bedridden and I can play with some of my clay!
Sally, maybe I'll try a fairy door - yours is so cute!
So I don't think I posted this before??? The past few weeks have been so confusing. These are my first attempts with polymer clay. I decided to try a bird to hang in a bird cage a friend was giving to another friend for her birthday. Used a photo of a cockatiel I found online and although it was impossible, for me at least, to create the feathers on the head I was fairly happy with the result.
It was a little frustrating since I had never used the clay before and it took me a whole DAY to get it ready for baking. However, I did have fun and the next day while waiting for the cockatiel to bake I decided to play around a little more and whipped up this little fellow in less than an hour.
These came out just too cute not to share! I saw some like these on a Facebook page I subscribe to so just had to try them for myself. Ear post earrings!!!
