Sharon that is the one I cleared crabgrass from , but sadly it has grown back and will have to be done again. It was started from a cutting of my grandmother's bush
and is older then I am , which is 50 yrs old. I still have a persistent maple tree sapling to remove and just might have to dig up and preposition one or two of the
hydrangea clumps that are too close to the fence when I get the time and energy. It may take a while but I do hope to get it sorted out eventually.
In the meantime I do have a few pics of my latest buds and blooms ,

Kurt everything looks lovely! When you have pretty blooms nobody notices anything else. That is wonderful that your hydrangea came from your grandma as a cutting. Might I suggest if you are going to move it to make a couple of cuttings and make sure they have rooted before you move it. That way if something happens you still have the plant. With a beautiful hydrangea like that if you end up with too many plants maybe other family members, friends, or neighbors would like one. Many blessings for continued success. went to shoot a video of a couple dancing butterflies who calmed down before I got to them , so I turned the shoot into a quick walk through the garden.
