There is a serrated-leafed Schefflera - Schefflera delavayi. I've never seen one in person and I can't see leaf attachments on your photos well enough to determine if you have a Scheff.

Thank you, Daisy....I've wondered about delavayi...The man who gave it to my friend said it was "special" and that's how I received it...LOL...Plantlust seems to see it as special also, so perhaps , yes. I will take another look at delavayi

A taxonomists nightmare. At least you know it is probably a schefflera, maybe.

Lin, I have vitex agnus-castus and I've grown the purple vitex / Arabian Lilac, neither of those have toothed leaves...is there, or are there, vitex with toothed leaves?

I agree that Tony's does not look like mine, it does look like one that was posted on Plantlust, didn't notice if it was one of his pics though.

I look at it and see Schefflera, but I'm sure there are probably other trees with similar leaves and structure...I wil leave this open and see if we get anything else...

The link under vitex leaves did not identify which vitex, but checking under vitex with toothed leaves, vitex negundo, which I'm not familiar with, does have toothed leaves though the one shown does not look like mine, will check more under vitex.....

I really have not seen any of the half dozen different "looks" that fit what you have.

It may be one of the elusive Schefflera mysterioso

Glad the pizza didn't disappoint Smiling
