Thread OP

I live in SW Michigan and the poppies are finished and sprawling. I have dead headed them and want to cut them back. The clump is quite large. Can I divide them now?

Yes, I think Oriental poppies go dormant for a while after blooming, then will put up new growth later in the summer, so this is a good time to divide or move them.
