We are experiencing flooding today in Ohio from last night's rain. More rain expected today. The river in this picture goes by farmer's fields, then carries all that runoff, loaded with fertilzer, down to us. Next, the water will turn green with algae with all that fertilizer. And then some of the fish will die and stink. Black spot and powdery mildew will attack my roses.

I can surely sympathize with you, we just went through that down here in Texas. Good luck.

Wow! I live in NE Ohio (Lake Co.). We didn't get a drop until 8 AM this morning and even then it was a misty shower that lasted an hour or so. You could barely feel it.There was another light 15 minute shower at 2 PM. I saw the flash flood watches and warnings early this morning and heard some areas got over 4". I'm not sure we've had 4" total this spring. My garden and brown lawn are in desperate need of rain but are only getting water from a hose.

So sorry! I hope your home is not in danger? And yes, like Thomas, the clean up continues down here in Texas. One of our nicest parks on the river has 10" of sand, silt on the parking lot.

I got a chuckle over your smiley faces -- are these random people, or folks who just don't want their faces on the internet? Clever, either way.

@Bonehead they are friends of mine. I just decided to smiley face them because they did not know I was posting this photo. I don't think they would have minded though.
