If the plant doesn't exist yet, you'll need to add the plant first, and then wait until the search engine finds it (which could be an hour or more).
Calif_Sue said:Mary, which plant is it? I don't see anything in the pending queue from you. You can always check the pending queue yourself from the main Plants database page by clicking on any of these options below the search box:
Moderation queues: [ Images | Data proposals | Misc proposals ]
If you have one of your there, then I do believe you can click on it again, not sure though as I have Moderator functions for some stuff so it may be slightly different.
Can non-moderators check the pending queue? I'm not a database moderator. I'm sure it's no longer pending, since it's been over 8 hours since I first added it. Of course, now I can't remember what the comment was that I wanted to add, or which of the 2 plants I wanted to add it to. And that reinforces my original point.
By the way, for your Butterfly Bush, Dave will have to edit it. The common name is just Butterfly Bush, you did the species right but the cultivar name should be Honeycomb.
When I found it in the catalog I ordered it from, it was called "honeycomb butterfly bush". Every place I've ever seen it for sale has sold it as a "honeycomb butterfly bush." That sounds like a common name to me, so that's why I did that the way I did. And it's not a Davidii, so it seems like it should have a different common name than the Davidii's do, but I"m not an expert, just an average every-day person. You'll see I did the same thing on the Alternifolia, based on what it was called when I bought it.
