I discovered it growing along my fence when I was mowing the grass. I have looked in several resources but cannot identify the plant. Can anyone help?

I would appreciate any suggestions on what this flower might be. It's growing in the shade on a mountain near Whitetop, Va. It has a deep cup and delicate hook in the back of the yellow flower.
