Just wondering, how long have they been planted? It's unusual for daylilies to be mailed without the leaves being cut back and with old scapes. It actually looks to be in pretty good shape. If the weather is likely to be hot, sunny and dry you may want to shorten the foliage to reduce transpiration. If the leaves are not wilting at all you could leave them as is. But if they wilt then shorten them. The very yellow leaves will probably die but that's not really a problem. Otherwise just water them as needed. Once they've settled in then maybe some fertilizer would be worthwhile but there's no rush for that and giving too much can make it harder for the roots to take up water.
