Thread OP

Ok so I posted this pic on houseplant id thread and a few of you said it is a zz plant. But my neighbor called it a cardboard palm. To me from google it looks more ZZplantish. How can you tell the difference? Help me figure it out if Iam right or her? lol so confused! We share the common room in our condo that it is in. Thanks

I have no first hand experience with either, but comparing photos online the leaflets look more like ZZ than Cardboard.

Its a ZZ. Cardboard Palms have trunks. ZZ leaves each come individually out of the soil surface because they are growing from rhizomes.
