This is the first time my plumerias have ever had a seed pod!

One of my seed pods has started to open up on one side but the other side has not started to open so I'm not sure what to do. I have put panty hose around the seed pod to catch the seeds but I'm worried about the seeds and I'm also worried about the other side of the seed pod since it hasn't started opening.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance.

I have attached 3 photos to give you a better idea of what they look like.
