It's hotter than an Alabama wildfire.

Gorgeous! It's been right at about 100 here so far, a couple days ago, upper 90's for weeks. If it doesn't rain soon, well, I'm going to be even more sick of dragging my hose around, and continue to watch plants NOT grow.

It's drier than a powder house ......

Same here! It keeps raining all around us, even really close by, but in the past month, there's been 1 quick downpour of about 5 mins with such high wind, it didn't get the ground on 1 side of the house even damp, or get under the trees at all. My rain buckets for potted plants have been empty for a while too.

Current temp 91 with a heat index of 101

I'm so sick of watering plants in the ground. I've got some weeds & grass sprouting in beds, it's pitiful & I haven't been taking many pics because of it. By the time I finish watering plants, I'm out of time & energy to pull them & don't want to preserve the memories with the weeds in view. Some of those weeds are looking fantastic though!

I feel your pain 😓Tiffany, I get worried I'm gonna have baked sweet potatoes🍠. It's dry as a powder house. I let my soaker hose run all night last night, 🔥🔥🔥

Wow, so dry in some places. It has rained here almost every day for the past week. We got a doozie of a storm last night. The deck umbrella went airborne. Lots of lightning and thunder. Flood advisory. Will be 87° today.

I guess all that is trickling down our way, Carole. We are supposed to ONLY get up to 90 today but thunderstorms are moving in this afternoon through Tuesday, dropping our highs to the mid-80's. Come Wednesday, we are back into the low 90's.

Ours did that a couple of weeks ago!! Broke our bedroom window. Had to get a new window and umbrella.

Rain, Rain come our way before like dust we blow away. Lol..
