This plant gets a little direct sun mid-morning, in the shade the rest of the day, since going outside about 4 mos ago. It makes new rosettes on stolons. If I knew what it was then, I can't remember now! TIA!

A bromeliad, possibly neoregalia?

My first thought was Bromeliad (Neoregelia) also but I don't know which cultivar; a couple for comparison:

Neoregelia (Neoregelia carolinae)
Neoregelia (Neoregelia 'Franca')

TYVM, Sue & Lin! Neoregelia sounds familiar, looks like a match, and led me to this awesome pic here in the DB, while scrolling through the N. entries.

I'm hesitant to attach a cultivar name since there seems to be soooo many, many of which have parents who are hybrids. Going to add the generic genus entry to my list & be done with it until I've had it for a few yrs & have a mature specimen to compare.
