I just added the tag name and the latin name to the database but there is no provision that I can tell to add a photograph of it. Can someone tell me how I could do this. I have looked at the representative photographs of Hypericum androsaemum, and there are only a few, so just wanted to add my photograph to the existing photographs for this rather interesting tall Hypericum. It was not my intention to add to the confusion surrounding cultivars and brand names for horticultural plants....just to add the photo, really. I am new to this site. Here is the photograph, for good measure.

Hi Kat,
I'd love to see your great photo in our database! Just put the name of the plant into the database search. When you find the plant page, scroll all the way down past the existing photos and you will see " Upload a photo". Click on that, and it will guide you through the posting process. Good luck and I hope to see your photo in there. It's a really nice plant! You can also add comments about your plant, and earn more acorns. Smiling

I've approved your proposal, Kat, but the plant won't show up in "Search" for a little while. In the meantime, you can use this link:

Hi Kat

I think the "deal" is that we have to perform a two-step dance when adding a new plant.

First we have to submit the Latin name. Then the moderators think about whether it's a synonym for something already in the database, and research to be sure it is the "formally accepted" name for something.

Only after the moderators add the new name to the database, can we add information or pictures.

Umm, when I go to the database, and search for this species, the previous records show up ok, but there is no provision to add a photograph on my screen.

Scroll down the page near the bottom and you will see a section that says Adding Actions. The first link under that is Upload a Photo.
