There is not any rank for scouts in France of maybe in other smaller French scout movement (I don't know).
I really discovered scout only 4 years ago ! Before that I knew only some cliche about it.
As I am very interesting since long time in nature and how to live with it, I rapidly join a group and discover about scout to be a leader.
I think, scout make me a leader, but I always have some improvement in that way, especially to grow up more as a leader at work.

I was in the Sierra Club here in the states. I love nature. I backpacked in Alaska loved it. I guess that is why I live in a national forest. I have to keep my plants on my deck so the animal leave them alone. I have to use non organic so the bear stays out of the dirt.
