I sure could use your help. I bought Dressed in Purple and Scratch My Back at the same time and planted them in the same area. Due to lack of knowledge, my method of daylily tagging was not good and I lost the names. I know, shame on me, but I'm doing a better job now. They are very similar in appearance and I could use more pictures from various sources to use in comparison to what I have growing.

Thanks,
Cynthia

Wonder why the' Dressed in Purple' photo in the AHS database is not shown in the NGA database? Seeing that happen a few times lately. I agree, more photos needed!

Looking at the two images in the AHS database.....
Scratch My Back, 24" tall, 5" bloom, very fragrant

Dressed in Purple, 28" tall, 6" bloom

The registration info is different enough that it might be a clue to figuring it out. Looking at the images in the AHS Database I think you might have them labeled backwards in the post above. Dressed in Purple appears to have wider tepals and a larger throat area like your first image. Your second image also gives a hint at a watermark as in the description of Scratch My Back. That would be my guess Smiling

Larry, images from the AHS database are not imported to the NGA database. The images are copyrighted with permission given to AHS for use.

Char,
You know, I knew that, but sometimes my brain just short circuits. Thanks for reminding me!
