I think the height on those allows for extra creativity. All kinds of creeping plants would work well. I wonder what kind of plant would work good for a Mohawk right in the middle,,,

Lynn... well...thanks... they are elegant.. and a bit spacey also.. I wanted to use that... n something more exciting..
Connie.. yes.. they seemed to be appreciative... very receptive.. I thought MoHawk myself..but there I go again.... there's surely more exciting things about.. than ivy... but this time of year here... if it's not a cactus... a mum.. or aster... oh.. perhaps an ornamental cabbage... your out of luck.. I did get a few spikey things to improve a shorter ivy.. I did one years ago... with Tahatian bridal veil as the hair... it hung so well... so full ... with the tiny white flowers sprinkled through out... it was perfect.. one of these will go in a botique designers store window... she makes piles of the cutest things... so durability was also a concern for one of them.. she had a bag of heads when I beged one from her ....n exchange I'd do one for her... I could see them in more extravagant ways in every hair salon n town... I'll try to get one to trade for my next do...
Tahatian bridal veil pictured...imagine it trimed around her face..

well with not much in the stores now... our second lady was able to start something going on with her new Do... she got a smlar treatment... a bit shorter.. but with a bit of a sprouting on the top.. they are both anamored of container gardening now... and don't want to grow in any other way..
she seems to be breaking out in a bit of a sweat though...

Thanks Sandi I tip my hat to you.

Gordon are you preforming surgery on the ladies? Are they hollow? I collect head planters and I am often disappointed when it's a statue not a planter. Never occurred to me to cut into their head and make them a planter. Tell us all about converting them to planters please.
