Hanging "pot." Yes, holes were added.

Crazy pot (an old kettle grill) has gone wild! Time to snip some stems to spread elsewhere in the landscape.

Colorful little cuties in a hanging coir basket, with some colorful rocks.



A cadre of Kalanchoes. 'Fang' is such a statuesque beauty once it has aged a few years.

I redid this pot last weekend. All of the stems were tall and fugly. I let the cute little Paraguayan purslane stay.


Look closely to see the tiny pink flowers.


Cacti friends.

Redid this a couple weeks ago. There's only about an inch of soil left in this old grill lid-turned-pot. Seems to be enough for this crowd. The cacti to the right are parts that fell off while I was removing leaves and cutting too-tall stems & sticking the tops back in. Mostly by lodging into the side of my hand without my hand getting closer than about an inch. I swear they JUMP!

Update on the last pot. The red Sedums have new growth starting @ soil level.

A "pot" made of chicken wire and window screen, hanging with steel wire. I don't worry about this when it rains.


This is an update from about 2 yrs ago. May the prettiest one win. This is the last chance for most of these - bloom or die.

I may need a t-shirt with this! I've got a few orchid cacti, zig zag cacti, and fish bone that fit the bill.

That would be a good T-shirt! That's how I feel about plain green plants. I told them when they asked to come here, you gotta bloom if you want to stay because you're not variegated or a less usual color than green.

Message received by this peanut cactus - first set of flower buds since purchased for my son when we moved to Florida, 15 years ago!!!! Made lots of props for gifting, but nary a bloom…….

That's a picture-perfect specimen for sure!

I am going to enjoy these blooms, who knows, may take another decade and a half for a repeat show!!!!

LOL! Are you coordinated enough to sniff? I would end up with spines stuck in my nose.
