Thread OP

I have a tiny silver/gray flying insect infestation in my arugula, radish leaves and the common weed purslane in my garden. They don't seem to be eating anything but bite me when I disturb them and weed. It's infuriating and I need some help identifying and organically eradicating them please help!

Welcome to NGA, @Jazzyp !

I think it would be helpful if you let us know where you are located -- I've never seen anything like that in my northern garden.

Only reference to tiny flying insects that bite that I could find are midges, but the only reference I could find to midges on radishes was for the Swede midge, and it indicated that they cause damage to the plant.
