Plant ID forum: I have found this plant almost everywhere in the Niagara Region in Ontario.

The closest plant that I could find that some what looks like these is fire weed. Although I don't think thats what this is.

This individual plant was close to a wetland, although I have seen it in some disturbed dry land as well.

In which city/state/country was the wetland, disturbed soil and dry land located?

Welcome! Are these all the same plant? In some pics it resembles goldenrod, Solidago canadensis, but not so much some of the others. Maybe post back with more pictures when they flower. The bent over tops remind me of something but I can't quite think what it is. I'm sure I've seen it here in Eastern Ontario.

I thought the same thing, some pics look like solidago, others like phlox, and others like aster.
You may need to wait for bloom.
