Oops ... maybe I'll blame it on my laptop; the track-pad has been all out of whack the past few weeks and driving me crazy!

No, your laptop isn't to blame. I added the plant in the first entry to the one in the second entry as a synonym and then deleted the plant in the first entry, so the link disappeared along with the entry.

I think my brain is going wonky along with the track pad on my mac.
