I was lucky enough to have my daylily club( Greater Cincinnati Daylily and Hosta Society) tour my garden ( and two other city lot gardens) this past weekend. The daylilies were past peak bloom but my club members were amazed at how we packed our gardening into small lots. I thought it might be nice to share a few pictures with my NGA friends too.

GCDHS is a great group that shares their love of gardening. Daylilies and hostas are the main focus but we learn about and share all kinds of gardening knowledge.

Just stunning! Very nice of you to share! It is great to see how many plants can be fit into a garden. Excellent planning. I think your hydrangea is gorgeous. I like it's color, here I mainly just see blue ones. I know it's the soil pH. I am really going go back and look at your daylilies. I think your soil is fascinating too! But most importantly it looks like a happy calm oasis! A place you would want to call home and share with people.

I don't know, it came with the house 18 years ago. I do not do anything to it but my compost pile is right beside it.

Lisa, you must be very proud because it shows in your gardens.
My wife (Marilyn) and I live in a small apartment in Maine that belongs to my son. It is a former farm that he purchased 5 acres of. Although there is a ton of land but we can only manage a small area for garden.
I have to admit that Marilyn is much adept at plant arranging then I am. She's the brains and I am the labor. This a picture of small garden outside the door.

Your garden is fabulous! I loved your virtual tour, and really enjoyed seeing the variety of plants and methods of planting that you have managed to include in your city lot. I particularly liked all of your succulents in the various pots. They were fascinating. Mind you, the daylilies were absolutely gorgeous, and they all look so healthy and happy Everything looked just lovely and as others have said, a beautiful, green oasis in the city
