I have a Dioon spinulosum that in in the ground in a tropical house. It has been consistently putting out new cones for a couple years now, but has not put out a flush of leaves within this time period. I am concerned about it. The bed gets soaked once a week but humidity levels are high throughout the house. Any ideas on what to try? Best fertilizers to use, etc.

Giant Dioon (Dioon spinulosum) sure is a lovely Cycad but I have no idea why it would produce fruit/cones but no leaves. Hopefully someone knowledgeable with that particular Cycad will be able to offer advice.
