@Marilyn You got me to thinking exactly where I saw these flowers so I searched my photos to find the location. You would have to go to Chama, NM. I took this back in 2009 when we rode on the Cumbres & Toltec railroad.

@wildflowers I am looking forward to traveling to New Mexico in a couple of weeks to visit our daughter and son-in-law in their new home. They have just moved to Nogal and they have 5 acres with fruit trees and a lovely mass of wildflowers in their yard. How cool is that? I might just stay there!
