Some of you might have seen my moan and groan post over the years about 2 cuttings I received 10 yrs ago. I babied them for 6 yrs they grew taller than me and never bloomed. I had family illness and finally let old man winter have his way with them.

I finally got the idea to try again. I ordered two from Ken @drdwag. I received them in April. We had a crazy spring cold one day hot the next. I thought these are going to die on me before I get them to root. Well they seem to both have survived and one is ready to bloom and they are only about 2' tall.

Doing a happy dance.

You are going to be loaded with flowers, Cinta. You even have a second flower-stalk growing. Hurray!

My plants are not wimps. I give them all a good talking to before shipping them. Whistling

Thank you all for the cheers. I cannot wait to smell the bloom. After my Hawaii vacation I wanted to grow these.

Maybe I will create a little Hawaiian Island garden, I have the tropical hibiscus growing great for a couple of years and the Butterfly ginger that ken sent I can create a good scene. Rolling on the floor laughing

Speaking of a Hawaiian Island Garden, this is what I labeled "Plumeria Patch 2016". Thats what the two plaques, front right and front left say.

Thank You! I am already beginning to dread the fall. Where am I going to put all these plants? Sighing!

Karen, at that point, I would be in the market for another wife. Whistling

It is all I can possibly do now with two greenhouses (which by the way, other than my new Pitcher Plants and rooting a couple of dozen plumeria, are empty), a temporary one (up just for the fall and winter), and the solarium. And the fact that I custom-box and ship out 300+ boxes of plants each year. I need less plants!

I guess I need to have a "Fire-Sale". Thumbs up

I feel the same way, I've given away more than 20 healthy potted plumerias when I thought we were moving right away but I counted this morning and I still have 100+ the additions were mostly from cuttings, when my plumeria gets too tall I cut them into manageable length. I've cut my Puu Kahea, No ID pink, Giant Aussie Orange, Barbados SG aka Confetti. Now I feel better because I have a insurance in case it gets too cold, I can leave some outside and bring some in my covered lanai.
