A couple months ago I posted a video review of the Garden Tower 2 (the combination vertical garden/vermicomposting system) and I was asked to post a followup once the plants have grown a bit. Here it is!

This plant tower looks really nice, but it brings up 2 questions:

1) what plants would you put in it to maximize the number of vegetables you could get out of it? I'd like to know, for example, if it's good for tomatoes and strawberries.

2) if you have time to make videos like this, does that mean you'll be making more podcast episodes soon? My kids and I love listening to them, and we're very anxious for new episodes!

Strawberries would do very well in this system, as well as any kinds of herbs and greens. I'm trying out tomatoes on the top of it, but I really don't know how they'd do. I think a determinate variety would do very well up there. The huge indeterminate plants are probably just too big for this system.

We want to get back into podcasting, and we will. I'm glad to hear that you guys have loved listening to them. Smiling
