Matelea is valuable, and.... The blooms are often overlooked...

If you had bindweed, you almost certainly would have noticed numerous small bloom.

I may need to take some pics of some of my mateleas for comparison. Maybe google the seed pods, and look for them on the vine.

Euell Gibbons useta tell us that violets were natures vitamins. Very pretty and worth keeping just for the wildlife value if not for the flowers...

The Carolina moonseed is gorgeous when covered in fruit, but tends toward aggressiveness.

Get rid of the invasive mimosa...
My blackberries seldom produce fruit, too dry here... Yours actually should fruit for you in tn, but they tend to spread from the roots...

Canada goldenrod spread from the root too, but still are worth growing...
