Hmmm... I haven't played any Halloween tricks on him...lately. We were telling our friends, the other night, about the time my San Antonio neighbor and I dressed up the weekend before Halloween and T or T'd our new neighbors from Pennsylvania. "She" came to the door and politely told us Halloween was the next weekend. We both had on flight suits and Planet of the Apes masks (it was the 70's)...and we started grunting and jumping around in those big ole boots. 'Told her we were on restriction (for something awful that I can't remember) and not allowed to go out on Halloween, so we sneaked out early. Bless her heart, even though she didn't have any candy yet (and was probably scared of such big demanding kids), she gave us each an apple. We left, but went to another neighbor's house, and being recognized immediately, we demanded libations. We finally told the new neighbor a few weeks after Halloween. "Welcome to the neighborhood!" Gee, I miss those days.

You can have the nasty milk duds. You may be older but I bet since I'm younger I can get to the Heath Bar quicker.

Yeah Vic! Hilarious! I agree

Oh but I'm big and bad and the Heath bar is on the way to the milk duds.
Besides, I'm closer to Texas than you are.

You absolutely are. Now how did you do that.
You are closer by about 100 miles.
No fair. You must be west-er than I am, I was thinking north-er.

I think I love milk duds more than anyone so I went to the store and bought a little box. Big Grin Anything with caramel and chocolate = YUMMMMMMM. Add nuts and I drool all over.

I dressed up back in the late 80's at work. The whole bunch "had" to dress and I decided to be a confused western. Half of me was a cowGIRL and the other half a cowBOY. It was a hard trick to pull off but I won first prize: $100! Big Grin

Cowgirl:
a platinum wig cut in half, make up, sequins and beads on the girl side of a red shirt
A girls denim skirt cut down the seam, sewed to jeans with the one leg cut off except the "shorts part in case I leaned over too far)
A red cowgirl boot

Cowboy:
my own hair slicked back with oil, spirit gum on my face with coffee grounds attached for stubble, half a mustache and heavier eyebrows painted on.
Half a vest (I sewed it to the red shirt)
A black cowboy boot way too large

They shared the cowboy hat.

It was a fun and yet confusing night for everyone...especially people who first saw me from only one side.

I have a photo but no scanner.

Oooohhh...I just ate a lb. of candy just to keep ya'll from getting sick. I'm resting so I can eat the other lb. and a half.......just tryin' to help you.

The cowboy/girl costume sound cool! We were at a house party once and this guy kept walking around in a T-shirt with a big ole letter P on it. I finally asked him what the devil he was supposed to be. He also had a black eye, and was a black-eyed P. Very cute.

BTW...I moved my candy under a motion detector. Good luck swiping it now. And the plumeria is potted and the marker is hidden inside the pot. I'm at least smarter than a fifth grader.
