I went to Gertans today and brought a euphorbia trigana
And a unknown staplaid it didn't have a name tag but has a big flower bud on it


Unlike my previous rescues from home deport these are doing well they have orimental gravel on them which looks nice but I can't tell how to water them should I remove the gravel


Also the pots look small for the euphorbia should I report it I have to get some more potting soil for cactuses though I used a bag of what I got for my cactues which blew over in a windy storm in an outdoor greenhouse

Re-pot now by all means. I use a more gritty mix by mixing Cactus potting soil with equal amounts of perlite and poultry grit (crushed granite). If those gravel stones are glued on, they must come off. Now is best so it has a chance to adjust and grow before coming inside for the winter. Grit can be purchase at feed stores. It cost me $8.50 for a 50 lb. bag. Smaller bags are more at $6.50 for 10 lbs. Great substitute for pumice which can't be had around here.
Wait for the stapelia to bloom first or else it will drop it's flowers.

I brought a bag of potting mix for cactus at Menards and reported my African milk tree its doing well I didn't water it
I didn't water the jade either I got on Saturday

How often should I water the new plants and is there a website online where you can buy stapeliads to create a collection of sorts how much light do they need I have it under red blue light for plants

If your soil is chunky/porous/airy, you don't need to let pots get extremely dry to avoid root rot since the risk of rotting the roots is greatly reduced. If using unglazed clay pots, the risk is further reduced. You should water before the dryness is so acute that roots shrivel. Without having watched your repotting, it would be impossible for anyone to try to prescribe a schedule. We have no idea what the roots-to-soil ratio is, size pot, or what kind of temps & exposure your newbs will have. While plants are outside for summer, I water all of them every 2-3 days to make sure they don't get too dry.

The very best place I go for Asclepiads (family of Huernias and Stapleas) is 'Miles to Go'. They have a large list and very cheap. Bob Smoley's is also a good place. He died in May and his wife took over and is having a difficult time with it. I hope she doesn't sell out or shut down the business. He (she) has some rare types and is also very reasonable.
Tiffany gave good advise. We have been have a lot of rain this week and my jades are sitting in water that I have to drain out after each rain. Even when dry, I water very little and as soon as I water, it pours right out so I have to have collection dishes under them so they can get some water. I use a very gritty mix with them and since I started, there seems to be a big improvement in them. Also when hot and in there growing season, they need much more water. In fact in winter months, I don't water them at all. Early spring when sun is more, I start to water them.
