I'm loving the critter pics! The only thing I've had in my daylilies was a rattlesnake. Thankfully, no pictures of that! I'm thankful, too, that it wasn't sitting in a bloom!
Valerie, that little guy/gal is so freaking cute! I can't believe that it hasn't weighed down the petal and fell off. I guess the leaf below is helping to support it. Or maybe it is just that light. Either way, it is very adorable

Cindy, funny you should mention spiders. We've had a bumper crop this year! I went to remove what I thought was a dried up aborted pod and it was only after I grabbed & squeezed the sides did I realized it was a huge jumping spider. I guess it didn't bite me because it was as surprised as I was!

I know, isn't it just the cutest thing. I hope I can get a picture of one of the little brown ones.
I have some orange spiders in my front yard who seem to want me to never leave the house. They start out tiny but catch lots of flies in their huge webs so by the end of the summer they are huge! I'm constantly picking them off me as I walk into their webs so I know they aren't aggressive. And anything that keeps the flies down gets to stay in my yard.
Jumping spiders get as big as a pod? Ah man and you touched it...(we need a shivering creeped out emogi)
Nothing as cute as the little frogs around here this year. I did see this guy watching me this morning...need to have a talk with the chickens. They're slipping on their garden clean up duties....
