no problem, as you can not have as many beardless as I do and I am pretty sure I have a bigger area for the bearded than you, so you will get the short end of the stick LOL

yup think we can get this all done in 2 weeks don't you think, as the rain is coming big time. Suppose to be about the same as last as this is another La Nina year..meaning colder and wetter for the PNW

on the 18th Rick Tasco and Roger Nelson will be coming for a talk on Historic

Over 3/4 of the foliage cut today (shoulder & energy gave out). Interesting discoveries: 'Salem Witch' has very narrow foliage. 'Anglesley' grows like mad & got it as a tiny start that looked like it would croak. Enjoyed the very small scarlet dragonflies which are still hanging around.

Well today was birthday day and then go out and pot about 50 siberians for next year. Hopefully after the store tomorrow to take Cass to the plumbing store to repair the facuet and link in the shop, it will not be raining and can do 3-4 more rows of weed whacking the beardless field. Hopefully this week can finish and clean up that field and return to the bearded field.

So much to do and so little time.

D

Can you believe my 14 year grand daughter is now 5'11" plays basketball, swimming, and valley ball this coming year.

Then my oldest grandson turns 21 on the 23rd

How can they be getting older and I am staying the same LOL

Finished cutting siberian foliage except for a couple in another bed. Those are tangled (Summer Sky & Iris kamayama) so I am hoping to get John to work with them. It was in the 80s today for the last time. Still cooler with a sea breeze than the same temp is in the summer. Back to weeding, some repeat area rather than starting that which has not been done. No reason why once done can stay done is there?

I am so confused with the way these iris are blooming this year. I have not yet had many brown leaves and this is what was in the field this morning. The white just stopped blooming.
I do not have many and I had them all marked and so well organized, then the blizzard came last winter, the earthquake and hurricane came this summer and now would you believe I do not have a clue what the names of any of my iris are? I guess it is o.k. since I only planted them to enjoy. I have some really beautiful colors and they are so healthy. I need to learn more about how to keep them happy. Here is the yellow bearded one that is blooming today.

The Siberians are finished I think, but still green. Do you ever cut them back before they get brown?
