The second one could be Entrapment. i just re-identified one of mine today as Entrapment by comparing it to one blooming at a nursery.

It is about 26-28 inches tall and just started blooming and is only 3-4 inches although the database says that they are 30 inches tall and 6 inches wide.

I have Entrapment in several places. Some are much taller than the others. It comes down to location and moisture. Bought it based on the daylily 500 article out there. Increase fast and a nice flower to boot.

dc0145a These are two I have that look similar to your first NOID - not sure what they are although scape and bloom size are a close match-also NOIDs in my garden (really hard for me getting true colors on the oranges):

There are something like a kajillion photos of 'Primal Scream' on the internet that look like the first photo. Do you know where you acquired it?

If you are talking to Ginny (and mine first one does look like one of the Primal Scream pics) I acquired it from a local daylily garden, Wilson Gardens. Some of his still have tags for their names but a lot are NOIDS. Quite a few of my daylilies came from there several years ago.

Yes, my comment was directed to your post. You can probably verify with certainty by acquiring 'Primal Scream' and growing the two plants side x side to see if they are the same. Before that step, though, compare the stats of yours with the registered info on PS.

Thank You! Donald. I'll compare the stats first then go from there.

Legalily,
The first one you're trying to id looks like Zella Virginia . The 2nd (bottom right corner) looks like paprika velvet.

dc0145a - I looked at the stats on Zella Virginia and it is dead on and I also have a photo that matches almost exactly with one in the database Hurray! Hurray! Also, Paprika Velvet is the closest I have seen on the orange for the stats and the colors. It also looks a lot like Rocket City but it isn't an early midseason bloomer, but the midseason with an extended bloom. Also, the scape isn't 36 inches. I'm keeping the stats on this one and checking it again. Here is a closer picture of this one I forgot I had:
