Is there a way to save to my profile favorite member sites? You guys have awesome ideas that I want to refer to later. You know like shoppers can on etsy and ebay but you can't learn from them.

Hi @Lioba,

What I do is copy and paste into a Word Perfect file any information that I want to save. Then I can reorganize that or add it to already saved info. Hope this will help.

Thanks Thomas75,

I thought of something like that. I'm one that likes to keep my desktop clean and to file it away would mean to remember. How about we suggest a change, an upgrade to this site so we can favorite members?

Hi Lioba!
At the bottom of each post you'll see a star, over there by the acorn, and thumb. Click on the star, and it will save that to your profile.

Hope that helps!

There's a site that I know of that allows one to "follow" a member. When this option is activated the system notifies the follower when the person they are following has posted something. NGA does not have this option (yet) as far as I know. However, one could still "follow" the other member by going into their profile to view postings they have made. Hope this helps.

I was informed by the site manager that it would be very difficult to program into the site a way to follow or favorite a member's profile page at this time. The site manager would like it but that isn't what they are working on. @cwhitt using the star, although meant to save articles, photos, etc... could be a way to remember a member you like by choosing a photo or article and write a note when in the starred pages section. I don't know what a lot of icons mean yet.

Hi Evelyn! Good to see you back! Have you moved already?

Suzzanne, Lioba was looking for an easy way to make links to individual NGA members' Profile Pages.

You could copy-paste the URL for each member's profile page into your personal profile menu (far-left blue menu bar). That would be almost as easy as Thpmas' suggestion to copy them into a document, plus the "hot link" would be located in a part of your NGA page that is already occupied by the generic blue menu. It would be visible without looking up a document.

You could also use your browser's "Bookmark" feature, or "Favorites" feature, to bookmark each member's profile page.
