I've had Chinese Scribe for a few years. It was planted in a partially shady spot and it wasn't increasing much at all. So, early in this season, I decided to move it to a sunnier location. Chinese Scribe did not bloom for me this year. sniff sniff! I am hoping that it will make up for it next year, but time will tell. When it does bloom, it can sure put on a show.

Chinese Scribe is brand new to me this year. I bought it off the LA and planted it in May. I even got a few blooms! Literally two but I was happy to see the flowers live. I'm sure there will more next year. The plant doesn't seem to have added fans but possibly next Spring? It's also possible that the location is too shaded. I'll give it another season where it is and keep an eye on it.

This cv is not doing too well. It's lost a fan in the Fall and Spring so down to three. It only had 3 flowers from September 3-8. I suspect that the spot is too shady. I might try moving this plant as it's pretty and worth relocating.

2023 update… still in the same spot, I hate relocating Daylilies. Only two blooms this year but it did put on a fan, ending the season at four fans.
