Is that the trunk the leaves are lying on? Or an old fence board? If not the tree's trunk, it looks like a birch twig.

Can you post a photo of the real trunk and the rest of the tree?

It could be a River Birch.
I agree it would help if you could upload photos of the tree trunk and possible step back and take a photo of the entire tree so we can see the shape. Thank You!
