Thank you. There is bee balm in the garden behind the plant in question. The leaves on this look almost like maple leaves.

Leaves on pic 2 & 3 remind me of castor bean plant. Not sure about the others. Weeds? @Louiseg If you are willing to share your location, that might help. Locale can make a big difference in plant species.

Number 3 and 4 looks like a kind of Hibiscus or other member of Malow/Malvaceae family Smiling

I agree. Actually, all of the last 4 pics look like 2 different members of the Mallow family.

The last one is maybe Hibiscus moscheutos? Looks like it will bloom soon and then it will be easier to identify.

Same with the middle one. Maybe Hibiscus 'Kopper King'? Hard to say until it blooms. On the red leaved hibiscus varieties, leaf color can largely depend on the amount of sun & leaf shape can change with maturity (can develop more & deeper lobes), so depending on the age of this plant and the amount of sun it receives, positive ID could be tricky. When it blooms, repost pictures.
