Hi there -

I'm trying to add a plant to the database and not sure what I'm missing. The plant info is:
Hebe x franciscana and the cultivar is Pinocchio. I receive an error message that the genus is not correct, even when I tried entering only Hebe.

Patty, the Hebe genus no longer exists. All of the Hebe species have been reclassified as Veronica species.

Only a couple of cultivars of Veronica x franciscana in the database but no listing yet for 'Pinocchio' : http://garden.org/plants/searc...

I know right?! Will always be a hebe to me.

It's OK, you can use hebe as the common name...Who the heck was Veronica?
