My eyes aren't cooperating this evening and even when I enlarge the photos I don't get a real clear view but for comparison:
Catalpa (Catalpa speciosa)

The leaves are wrong for Tung Oil/Vernicia fordii; likewise for Catalpa - both have sort of heart-shaped leaved.
Yours could be some type of nut tree.

Edited to add:
Is there any way you can add a larger photo of the second image? Thank you.

Could you save the images in a file and then upload them here? They would be easier to see than a screen shot.

I notice that greene's link says that the name should be X. sorbifolium rather than sorbifolia as we have in the database. The ICBN seems to support that so I've posted a query on the database forum.

I was surprised that Xanthocerus sorbifolia/um is apparently hardy to zone 4 - I want one!

According to Flora, this is a small tree/shrub, hardy in zones 6-9, but needs high temps to set nuts.

The Mobot page says it can be hard to find, I don't remember ever seeing it for sale here but I'll look out for it.
