Thread OP

I have yellow Stella D'oro daylilies planted near Blushing Turtle geraniums. Do these colors look good together? If I were to add Salvia nearby, what color is best?

Thank you,
Kristy

Didn't you post this last week? No answers? Or no answers you liked?

I did not respond to your first post but my thought is that color variety is the spice of life and that nothing clashes in nature. With yellow, I would plant purple. With purple, I would plant orange. Look at a color wheel and plant the color opposite. Smiling

On the other hand, my mother thought flower colors do clash and worked hard at matching her colors.

@kjl66 Welcome to NGA Kristy Welcome!

The blues and purples of the salvias/sages would go very well with the yellow of the stellas and the lavender/purple of the geraniums. Salvias range from white, pale pink all the way to deep dark purple so, white, pale pink or purple all would work. Salvia madrensis, Forsythia sage, has nice yellow blooms and it would also work well.
