Thread OP

Hello,
I found a plant in my city, London Ontario. the plant is short with broad leaves and has a fruit that is green but turns yellow when ripe. the fruit is very similar to passion fruit by taste and smell and has a yellowish substance which is also similar to passion fruit in its inside. the area is very humid and gets a lot of rain. I am not sure weather it's a berry or a fruit. I would like to know its scientific name and weather it is edible or not.
thank you.

Hi and Welcome!

Can you post a picture of it? The plant, and the fruit?

Also a picture of the flower if there is one, would be helpful.
