This one is popular/prevalent lately: Gasteraloe (XGasteraloe 'Green Ice')

IDK what it is either, just offering a suggestion to investigate. What feature does your eye see (or note as missing?) Mine had that label, but I'm not convinced mine is either. Pics @ the link.

Monika, looking again, the soil looks like it's almost all peat. If so, that can make it tricky to avoid rotting the roots. Adding a significant amount of perlite to that can help, or using something more chunky/porous/airy, like cactus/palm soil.

No doubt, if it ain't broke, don't fix it! Replying right after your last sentence, I must say, I don't have any illusions that my involvement here is as an expert, just a lover of plants like you. ;) If it has the name of the grower, that can often lead to ID if they list individuals on a website.

One thing that makes Green Ice stand out is the ice... whitish hoar frost type stuff on the leaves. Which is different from the spots on Monika's plant.

Not all the plants on that database page are Green Ice, by the way. It is incredibly easy to misidentify Gasterias and especially the hybrids. Take a look at the variation in color, frost, and shape within one small family that I grew from seed.

Purpleinopp the pictures of your plant in the Gasteraloe 'Green Ice' entry show that it is not Gasteraloe 'Green Ice'. The difference in the flowers is telling - check out the flowers shown on the plant in one of the first couple of photo entries. Looking at the pictures in the database entry, I would say your plant is very similar to Tarev's, which I also do not think is Gasteraloe 'Green Ice', aside from the flowers - your plant has much more Gasteria like flowers (as does Tarev's) - there is a subtle but distinct difference in the leaf markings Gasteraloe 'Green Ice' is smooth, it looks like your and Tarev's plant have raised 'bubbles' on the leaves.
It is what it is!

TYVM! I requested to move my pics to the Gasteraloe parent entry. Yes, it has raised bubbles. I'd been thinking the lack of such prominent lighter edges was from having to come inside for winter, but combined with the bumps, it must not be that cultivar if 'GI' is a smooth-surface plant.

Gasteraloe Goliath is my best guess. I have many, many Green Ice plants and they are not similar to this image. Gene

It's not Goliath either. That's an Aloe variegata hybrid with variegata-shaped leaves (folded and channeled) which do not resemble the flat ones in the picture.

It's fine just being "Gasteraloe" to me. I'd much rather be ambiguous than wrong.

This is somewhere around the 10th plant I've gotten in the past few yrs at a BBS from the grower cactuscollection.com/Altman that has a wrong label. I buy them by sight "that looks cute," but they sell over the internet too. Caveat emptor!

It reminds me of Aloe variegata 'Partridge Breast Aloe' but the leaves lack the concave-ness to them. It's cute whatever the little fella is.
