Thank you everyone for the responses! I have have potting soil mixed in with cactus soil... maybe 20 percent is the potting soil... I do that will all my cacti/succ for the past 2 years and no problem... plus I just water them once a month...I was thinking it was somewhat an aloe.... but had to ask the experts
