Thread OP

I always see this plant while driving to the train station by my house. It grows back every spring/summer and bloomed in July. Can anyone identify it? I'd love to plant it at home.

It appears to be a Canna, possibly the beautiful Canna (Canna x generalis 'Pringle Bay')
