Hello semp folks, I have a question - I don't know the history as to why we are calling Fame Monstrose two different things?
In Europe they call it 'Fantasy' which I like that name and would vote for us calling it that - but is there any reason we continue calling it 'Fame montrose' ? Just being curious
Thanks in advance for any info.

Great question Greg. Let us see what we can come up with.

Nicholas Moore / GB / 1962 / in 'FANTASY' renamed Ed Skrocki / USA / 1977 / Description Erwin Geiger: A Spot of 'Fame', which is offered in the US as 'Fame monstrous'. The monstrous rosettes form i.a. again normal offspring from.

This warrants more research.
'Fame' was introduced in 1962, so 'Fame Monstrose'/'Fantasy' had to have been found in 1977.

Lynn, so according to that, 'Fantasy' is a sport of 'Fame monstrose' so they are probably different...good to know! Thanks for the info Lynn

We still don't have the history on this. It was Ed Skrocki that named it in 1977. I wonder if he had 'Fame' and then found the sport that he named 'Fame Monstrose'.
I wonder if Kevin has any more information?
