I recently got a beautiful variegated flowering maple houseplant; recently the leaves have begun to turn yellow, curl in, get brittle and fall off. I'm not very experienced with these plants, is it a lack of iron or something else?

Check it for sider mites. Get a spray bottle full of water and mist it good. See any tiny webs where the leaves met the stem? Gene
